A Stunning New Arts & Cultural Centre on The Bund

The famous Shanghai Street, The Bund has recently gained a new architectural masterpiece. Nestled amongst dozens of historical buildings, lining the Huangpu River, this modern structure is designed to be a mixed-use centre hosting luxury offices, a boutique hotel, a theatre and a series of exhibition and event halls. The complex was designed by Thomas Heatherwick’s design studio and Norman Foster’s architecture firm, who are also the creative geniuses behind the new campus for Apple. China is always looking for new ways to connect with their remarkable landscape and heritage, as opposed to duplicating what already exists in the rest of the world. This concept reflects just that with its glazed facade and remarkable moving veil-like feature, which adapts to the changing use of the building. This exciting new development is still in construction, but the cultural centre is now complete for all to admire in its full beauty. Could this spectacular space be the ultra venue for your next event?
